Research Abstract |
We have succeeded to develop the new ionization detector of an artificial Diamond. It was found that the detector has the high energy resolution of 15.4keV (FWHM) for alpha-particles which is almost the same as Si detector and a promising data for the future radiation spectrometry. So, we found also that Diamond detector is useful to detect Heavy Ion without polarization effect.
