| Research Abstract |
The middle schools were systematized the preparatory course to university in Meiji era. At the same time, the middle schools ware excluded women as students and as teachers. This study is tried to make clear the process of excluding women. The key word is "Holder of License of Middle School Teacher".
"Holder of License of Middle School Teacher" in Meijiera was researched. And the list of "Holder of License of Middle School Teacher" in Meiji era was made. Their school careers and their places of employment were added to the list. The list made clear that the kinds of license of female teachers were changed as the times.
The list was published. The list will give more knowledge and progress the study on teachers of middle school.
