| Research Abstract |
多様体間の微分可能写像の特異点の大域的性質の研究を行った。単純特異点に対応するジェット空間の空間の位相の研究により、ホモトピー原理の成立性の研究を主に行った。存在レベルのホモトピー原理を越えた高次のホモトピー原理のための不変量の構成に主眼を置いた論文として、その1部をまとめて、研究発表論文に記載した1に続くものとして投稿中である、続く論文ﾞInvariants of folding maps″として準備している。
これ等の研究は従来知られていたThom多項式等の特性類と関わる不変量では取り扱えない、新しいものであり、著しくは多様体(5次元以上)の微分構造とも関わる。
特異点の深い様相を知るために、高次元の様子を3次元に切断してコンピューターによって図形の解析を行い、特異点の特徴を調べる作業等も行った。これ等の成果を他大学の研究者と協議するための研究会に参加した。
