Research Abstract

1. 多変数超幾何関数の研究:研究代表者は、故喜多通武との共同研究により得られた、超幾何関数に付随する捩れホモロジー群の外積構造の論文を完成させた。この論文は近々印刷公表の予定である。また研究代表者は松本圭司と共同で、一般エアリー関数に付随する捩れコホモロジー群の交叉理論を研究し、交叉行列がシューア多項式を用いて表現可能であるとの予想を得た。現在、この予想の完全なる証明に向けて鋭意研究中である。2.多面体調和関数の研究:研究代表者は松本圭司及び験馬篤文と共に、すべての例外型正多面体に対し、多面体調和関数の空間を具体的に決定した。そのために例外型有限鏡映群の新しい基本不変式の計算を併せて行った。これらの結果を論文にまとめ、現在投稿中である。また、海外旅費を使用して国際数学者会議に参加し、多面体調和関数論に関する研究発表を行った。また前年度までの研究成果を含め、理論の大要を記述した内容の概説論文を執筆した。現在、更に内容を加味して著書にまとめる計画が進行中である。3.逆分岐問題の研究:研究代表者と分担者上村豊は、逆分岐問題に付随して現れるウィナー・ホップ型積分方程式の研究を行った。その応用として、前年度に得た無限区間における逆分岐問題の解の一意存在定理をはるかに一般化すると同時に、有限区間における逆分岐問題の解の一意性の破れという新たな現象を発見した。これらの結果を論文にまとめ、現在投稿中である。またいくつかの研究集会で成果の発表を行った。上村豊は、上記の成果を取り入れた内容の、積分方程式の専門書を執筆中である。4.パンルベ方程式の研究。研究代表者は川向洋之と共同で、多変数第4型パンルベ方程式のハミルトン構造に付随する、ある種の組み合わせ論的公式を証明した。その応用として、直交多項式の一種であるゲーゲンバウアー多項式の新たな2次関係式を発見した。この結果は印刷公表された。分担者渡辺文彦は第6型パンルベ方程式の双有理変換を見出し、古典解の決定を行った。
