Research Abstract

『A【greater than or equal】B【greater than or equal】0→(B^rA^pB^r)^<1/q>【greater than or equal】(B^rB^PB^r)^<1/q> for r【greater than or equal】0,p【greater than or equal】0,q【greater than or equal】1 with(1+2r)q【greater than or equal】p+2r』が『フルタ不等式』である。1986年に確立し、Proc.Amer.Math.Soc.に掲載されたが、この成果は53年前に示されたLowner-Heinz(1934年)の不等式『A【greater than or equal】B【greater than or equal】0→A^α【greater than or equal】B^α for any α ∈[0,1]』の一般化になっていて、一般に非可換であるA,Bでも数と同じ様な結果が成り立つという成果である。つまり『フルタ不等式』でr=0とおけばLowner-Heinzの不等式が示される。この『フルタ不等式』の応用な多方面に及ぶことが判明しているが大別すれば次の(A),(B),(C)の3つである。(A)Operator inequalitiesへの応用、(B)Norm inequalitiesへの応用、(C)作用素方程式の発展への応用。(A)としては(A-1)logA【greater than or equal】logBをみたす作用素の特性化とその応用、(A-2)順序を保存する作用素不等式の確立への応用、(A-3)relative operator entropyへの応用、(A-4)Ando-HiaiによるLog majorizationへの応用(A-5)一般化されたaluthge transformationへの応用などである。(B)として(B-1)Heinz-Katoの定理の精密化と一般化、(B-2)Normに関する或定理の一般化(B-3)Kosakiのtrace inequalityの一般化と関連するtrace ineq
最近、Reid inequality,Lowner-Heinz,Heinz-Kotoの3つの不等式が同値であることやこれ等の発展が得られた。更に一般化されたFuruta inequalityを示すことができるoperator functionsの列が得られた。
