Research Abstract |
In the planning for medical facilities, with the background which are the rise in the standard of floor spaces and the increasing tendency toward amenity for patients, we have been able to see the 4-beds room with individual territorial ized area for each patient (named Articurated Ward), such as Nishi-Kobe Medical Center. And also We can see its variation. We have investigated the patients' tendency for their sense of privacy and teritorry at the 4-bech room with individual territorial ized area for each patient. Patients' sense of privacy and teritorry are various for their attributions and for the type of Articurated Ward. In this research, we can take into the possibility and the limit of the Articurated Ward
