Research Abstract |
On the present research, the specimen was manufactured for trial experiment. The experiment condition was established by referring the data on the soaking zone, the temperature and the cooling condition, etc. in the furnace. As a result of the first experiment, The joint specimen of the cast ion and ceramics was obtained by using Al thin film for the intermediate layer. However, the reactive phase was not uniform. And a large amount of the weak intermetallic compound generated at the interface. It has been understood that this intermetallic compound has decreased the joint strength. Then, in order to improve the reactiveness on the joint interface, pressurizing to the pressure was given to the specimen from the beginning to the end. As a result, the reactiveness has been improved. at there are the good correlation condition in the relationship between the pressurizing power, the hold temperature, and the thickness of the intermediate layer. And, high joint strength was obtained by the condition of pressurizing power 10MPa. The generation of the intermetallic compound was able to be controlled. However, joint strength of Al thin film and the alumina ceramic was low. Then, the joint of Al thin film and ceramics were tested. Further reinforcement of the cast iron and ceramics was aimed by providing this joint condition. Then, the good joint condition of Al thin film and ceramics was able to be obtained. Al thin films are joined to ceramics based on these results. Thereafter, it is thought that high joint strength is obtained by joining the cast irons to it. As a result of above experiments, a new inclination function material was able to be obtained. In the future, it will be necessary to examine the combination the specimen and the intermediate layer for promoting inclination functioning and hybriding in the joint material. Less
