Research Abstract

最近Annxin Vを利用してapoptosisを検出する技術が一般的となってきたのはAnnexin Vのphosphatidylserineに対するaffinityの高さを利用したものである。しかし単球などの細胞は可逆的に酸性リン臆質をその細胞膜表面に発現しており、凝固という観点からはprocoagulant activityの検出にもっとも良いprobeである。
本研究において、病態学的には血管内凝固で主役とも言える単球のprocoagulant activityを簡便に測定できる技術を開発した。この技術はendotoxmや多くの単球活性"物質の生体に対する影響のモニタリングに適し、近年問題になっている環境ホルモンの単球、ひいては血管内凝固への影響を検討することも可能になると考える。現在、この慢性的単球活性化は血管脆弱化の一因子ではないかとの見地より因果関係を検討中である。
