経時的非対称類似性データにおけるクラスタリングモデル

Research Abstract

個体間の類似度が経時的に観測されている場合のクラスタリング手法としては,従来,3-wayデータに対するクラスタリング問題としてINDCLUS(Carroll,J.D.,etc.,"Analysis of individual differences in multidimensional scaling via an N-way generalization of "Eckart-Young"decomposition",Psychometrika,35)やINDSCAL(Carroll,J.D.,etc.,"Analysis of individual differences in multidimensional scaling via an N-way generalization of "Eckart-Young"decomposition",Psychometrika,35)などのモデルにより議論されてきた。これらのモデルにおいては,各時点(あるいは各被験者)におけるクラスターに対する重みにより時点間(あるいは被験者間)の相違性を抽出しようというものである。
しかし,これらの結果では,クラスターの構造が経時的にどのように変化したものかを知ることができない。そこで,本年度の研究においては,個体のクラスターへの帰属度が経時的変化にどのように変化するのかを表現するモデルを提案した。この場合,時点間における帰属度の比較を行うためには,時点間においてクラスターを固定して考える必要がある。そこで,Dynamic MDS(Dynamic Multidimensional Scaling)における超行列(super-matrix)の考え方を従来提案してきたファジィクラスタリングモデルに導入することにより動的変化の構造を抽出し得るモデルを提案した。
これらのモデルにおいては,各時点の固定されたクラスターについて,クラスタリングの結果を求めることが出来るため時点間の結果の比較が可能となる。さらに,Average関数または非対称Aggregation Operatorの定義の仕方により個体間,時点間の抽出出来得る性質が異なることが数値実験の結果,得られた。これらの研究成果については,国内外の図書,論文雑誌,国際会議,学会等に発表した。
