| Research Abstract |
構造・物性有機化学は共役電子系の非局在性を制御して,多彩な性質を持つ分子性物質を創出し広く物質科学の発展に貢献している.このような観点から,構造・物性有機化学が求心的な総合力を発揮して,学術上の深化を達成することを目指し,物性科学グループの協力を得る研究組織を構築することも意義深いと考える.このような考えに従って,企画調査のための研究組織を構築し,出発点の課題として「構造・物性有機化学の新展開の探索」についての今後の方針について意見・情報を交換を行い,新規に発足する重点領域研究"非局在電子系"の研究領域を申請するための準備調査を行った.
具体的には,「構造・物性有機化学の新展開の探索」について二回の研究会議を持った.
1)平成9年10月:構造有機化学討論会に合わせ,各分担者に所属する若手研究者を中心として議論を行い今後の新展開を話し合った.
2)平成9年11月:物性科学グループの発表を重要視し,新展開の芽の探索を中心に議論した.
