Research Abstract	フィリピンでは、合田がベンゲット州バギオ市とその周辺において、引き続き山岳少数民族がスクワッターとして大量に都市に流入している実状を調査し、行商人組合など、都市における自己組織化の実状、都市・農村を結ぶネットワークについて調査した。玉置は、ケソン州タヤバス市において、少数民族アエタのコミュニティに住み込み、彼らの生業、政治文化、NGOや大学、教会など外部機関による援助プロジェクトなどについて実地調査を行った。長坂は、イロコス・ノルテ州における町長選挙について、候補者の支持者グループの構成と選挙戦略について調査し、伝統的な支持基盤の構成に加えて、新たに、水利組合や老人会、婦人会などが形成されていることを明らかにした。バルボサは、レイテ島とその周辺において、漁民の生業活動をめぐって、伝統的な漁業技術、漁業資源、漁獲物の流通をめぐる社会関係などについて調査した。台湾では、馬渕が、宜湾の海岸アミについて、戦前・戦後を通じて地方政治家として活躍した里長にライフ・ヒストリーを聞くことで、その歴史的な変遷を調査した。堀江は、台北市において客家運動について調査すると共に、新竹県において、選挙の支持母体となる高齢者組織と地方政治の関わりについて調査した。マレーシアでは、遠藤が、ヌグリ・スンビラン州スレンバンにおいて、慣習法の変化と政策の関係を調査し、アダットによる共有地の開発には、「文化復興」の側面が有ることを明らかにした。シャムスルは、ヌグリ・スンビラン州ルンバオ地域において、マレー系住民と華僑・華人、インド人の棲み分け状況と相互関係について調査した。インドネシアでは、伊藤が南スラベシ、ウジュンパンダン市において、開発計画と森林や国有地を占拠する先住民の処遇をめぐる地方政治の事例を調査した。
