日本住血吸虫の種分化とその起源に関する研究

Research Abstract

インドネシア、タイ、及びスリランカから採集した3種の住血吸虫、Schistosoma incognitum,S.spindale,S.nasaleについて、ミトコンドリアDNA(CO1)と核DNA(ITS2)の塩基配列を調べ、既知の住血吸虫の同領域を用いて系統樹解析を行った。今回は距離法(近隣結合法とUPGMA法)及び最大節約法を用いて解析した。その結果、今回解析に用いたすべての方法で、ほぼ同じ樹形が得られた。S.spindaleは、アフリカ産のビルハルツ住血吸虫に、S.masaleは同じくアフリカ産のマンンン住血吸虫にそれぞれ近縁であるデータが得られた。一方、S.incognitumは、どの住血吸虫にも近縁でなく、アジア産グループからもアフリカ産グループからも離れている結果が得られた。今回調べた3種はすべて属するインディカム住血吸虫グループに属するが、これらの結果は、その内少なくとも2種S.spindale,S.nasaleは、その起源がアフリカであることを暗示しており、これらが、どのようにしてアジアに分布するようになったか、興味深い.またスリランカにおける牛ナザーレ住血吸虫(Schistosoma nasale Rao,1393)による牛ナザーレ住血吸虫症の鼻粘膜を病理組織学的に検討した結果、粘膜内固有層の静脈内に雌雄の成虫が認められた。又、他の粘膜内には虫卵があり、その周辺には好酸球、好中球、リンパ球、類上皮細胞、多核巨細胞が取り囲み、肉芽腫が形成されていた。
