Research Abstract

本調査研究では、グローバル化時代における製造業の健全な発展の必要性に鑑み、交付申請書に記載の目的、実施計画に従って、わが国を含む先進各国製造業の現状と戦略的方向づけ、及びそれを実現するためのアクションプログラムについて定量的調査を実施し、当該産業の抱えている構造的問題点とそれに対する処方箋について検討した。特に、EU,NAFTA,オセアニアにわたる代表的製造先進国及び発展途上国の研究者との共同調査研究と結果の相互比較を通して、わが国製造業の国際的視野からの戦略論的位置付けを可能ならしめた。
本年度においては、初年度(平成10年度)における具体的な研究活動であった製造企業行動モデルのフレームワーク設定、製造業行動モデルに準拠した設問項目の検討、予備調査の実施とフィージビリティスタディ、調査票の設計と調査実施標準手順の設定、本調査の実施、調査票の回収及び、インタビューの結果整理、回収データのコンピュータ入力とデータベースの構築を要素とする一連の研究活動を踏まえて、平成10年度国際学術研究―共同研究計画書―に記載の13項目にわたる研究実施手順のうち、下記に示す後半の6項目に取組み、予定する成果を得た。
(1)分析の視点、ストーリーの確定(全体会議の招集):得られたデータのプロフィールについて情報交換を行い、分析すべき事柄と分担を確定した。(1999年4月―6月)
(2)各種統計解析処理:各国ごとに経営戦略、競争上の重点と改善策、成果との統計的関係を分析し、戦略の種類と方法論、その有効性を整理した。(1999年6月―9月)
(3)製造業行動モデルに基づく行動因果連鎖構造の分析:統計分析の結果から各国の生産戦略の特徴、問題点を検討し、製造業の行動規範を理解するために企業行動に関するCause-Effect Modelを構築した。これにより、国ごとの生産戦略構造が明らかとなった。(1999年9月―12月)
(4)分析結果の国際比較と考察:協力国の研究調査メンバーによる共同学会発表を行い、ディスカッション及び成果の確認を行った。(1999年12月―2000年2月)
(5)報告書の作成:国際的な共同研究の成果としての報告書を連名で作成する作業を行った。(2000年3月)
(6)個別サブテーマの検討と関連国際会議での成果発表(セッションを形成する):これについては解析終了から研究期間満了までの間において随時行った。なお、一部の成果については平成10年度において実施している。(1999年6月〜2000年3月)
