| Research Abstract |
タイ国では暑い気候も幸いして農水産物はかなり大量に収穫されている。しかしなら、暑い気候のために腐敗して捨ててしまっている一次産物も多い。高度利用のたのPostharveststudiesが要求されている。本計画ではタイ国における農水産物の高度利用研究のための基盤をいかに築いていくかを調査し、具体化する方法を探ることを目的としている。
本研究は2つのプロジェクトから成り立つ。1.タイ国の代表的で豊富に栽培されている花類(例えばカトレアなど)を長期に保持させるために、内生植物生長調節物質を特定すること、および化学薬品をどのように処理するかについての観察調査。この研究には、吉田、米山、山根、Saichol Ketsaがあたる。2.タイ国の代表的で豊富に養殖されているエビ類の耐病性や過密養殖に耐えられる種類を特定すること、およびDNA分析によってどのDNAが関与しているかの特定する研究遂行。この研究には、柳沢、菅野、沖野、SomvongTragoonrungがあたる。両大学の研究者が共同して考察検討を行い、対処法をカセサート大学側の研究分担者が行う。得られた結果について宇都宮大学において共同で検討してこの問題の解決にあたる。
今年度はまず、日本側4名(柳沢、菅野、米山、山根)が9月10-16日にタイ国バンコク市を訪問し市場の見学、カセサート大学ならびに周辺のエビの養殖試験場、畜産農家、牛乳工場などを訪問した。またタイ測2名(Saichol Ketsa、Somvong Tragoonrung)が10月18-24日に日本国宇都宮市を訪問し、宇都宮大学ならびに周辺の切り花の生産地、種子会社、養殖研日光などを訪問した。まずは、お互いの研究環境の理解を深めた。さらに、本研究テーマについての討論を行った。どのように各研究者が役割を分担するかについて相談した。また、東京大学農学部の2研究室を訪問し、研究設備を見学させて頂いた。
