Research Abstract	総括班は、各班の班長(稲垣、白川、阿久津)、本特定領域研究の全体としての企画・事務・庶務・ニュース発行等を担当する班員(京極、森川、西村、相本、寺沢)、評価委員(荒田、御子柴、宇井、藤井)からなる。総括班は研究計画全体の調整を行うと共に、班会議、シンポジウム、ワークショップを開催し、班員相互の意思の疎通を計った。平成10年度は班員相互の研究連絡を密接にするために、シンポジウム、ワークショップ、班研究会を主催或いは後援した。具体的には、公開シンポジウム(東大・山上会館)、特定班研究会・総括班会議(湘南国際村)、NMRワークショップ(三島・東レ研修センター)、生化学会シンポジウム(名古屋国際会議場)、公開シンポジウム(澁谷・薬学会館)、分子生物学会シンポジウム(パシフィコ横浜)である。本特定領域では、以下の大型機器を総括班において重点的に配備し、広く特定領域研究参加者の利用に供した。500MHzNMR分光計(阪大・蛋白研)、固体NMR分光計(横浜国大)、500MHzNMR分光計(横浜市大)、MALDI-TOF/MS(都臨床研)
