| Research Abstract |
1.最終年度に当たり、班会議は夏に仙台で開催した。本研究領域の6年間の総括として、嗅球の領域化・匂いマップ形成(森、山口)、Pax6を中心とした前脳の領域化(大隅)、間脳の領域形成(嶋村)、中脳・後脳の領域形成(仲村)、網膜の細胞分化機構(影山)、分泌性のパターン形成遺伝子の探索(笹井)、運動神経のサブタイプと神経繊維経路選択機構(田中)、ゼブラフィシュの神経誘導、神経系オーガナイザーの働き(武田、弥益)の理解に特に貢献したと思われる。
2.本年度は班会議に加え、大隅により7月にPax6関係の国際シンポジウム、3月にMolecular Mechanisms of Neural Developmenという2つのミニ国際シンポジウムが開催された。
本研究領域は本年で終了するが、共同研究として今後とも協力関係は続く予定である。
