Research Abstract

「ソフイス・リー没後百年記念国際研究集会」を99年12月京都で開催するため、本研究代表者が中心になって準備を進めている。これに向かって、98年9月ロシアのカザンにおいて日露の研究会を、11月には山口大学において幾何学研究集会を開き、本研究組織から多数参加した。また、99年2月にはコロンビア大学倉西教授のもとで、Malgrange,森本徹が参加してセミナーを持った。これらを通じて、一線の専門家たちと活発な討論を重ねながら、リー群、幾何構造、微分方程式三者相互の繋がりに焦点を当て、リー没後100年間の発展と今後の展望について大域的な視野から省察した。
また、研究代表者、研究分担者は、緊密に交流を持ちながら研究を進め、それぞれの領域において多くの成果を得た。特に、森本は持田芳徳と共同でMonge-Ampere方程式の接触幾何学的研究を進め、これまでの独立変数が2の場合の理論が、一般多変数の場合には、decomposable Monge-Ampare方程式というクラスに対して自然に拡張できることを示した。石川剛郎は実射影空間内のコンパクト等質可展超曲面の新しい例を発見し、等質可展超曲面の中で特徴づけた。佐藤肇は3階の常微分方程式の接触同相による局所同値問題を考察し、その完全不変量を決定した。金行壮二は単純リー群のパラエルミート対称空間の自己同型群を決定した。佐々木武は吉田正章と共同で、3次曲面のモジュライを実現する微分方程式の具体形を求めた。大森英樹は変形量子化の研究から非可換微分幾何を目指している。野村隆昭はBerezin変換の研究を行った。
