Research Abstract	本研究の目的は、広い視点に立って非標準論理の理論と応用に関する研究を推進することである。本年度の研究実績の概略は以下の通りである。 1)部分構造論理の研究。小野は代数的な手法を用いて縮約規則のない部分構造論理に対する一般論を展開し、この分野における研究の基礎を現在構築中である。これまでに得られた結果を現在論文にまとめている。1998年9月には部分構造論理をテーマとして数学基礎論サマースクールが開催されたが、このサマースクールには本研究の分担者のうち4名が講師として参加し、若手研究者に対してこの分野における最近の成果についての講演をおこなった。 2)ゲーム理論への認識論理を用いたアプローチ。この問題に対しては分担者の金子、鈴木が精力的に研究をおこない、認識演算のnestingが有限におさえられたゲームに対する論理的解析をおこなった。この成果は論文および国際会議で発表された。 3)非標準論理における証明論的手法。古森と廣川はラムダ計算と非標準論理の証明との間の密接な関係を利用して、いくつかの興味ある結果を得た。小野は部分構造論理における証明論的手法に基づきこれらの論理の変数分離の原理に関する結果を得た。この問題に対する証明論からのアプローチはこの論文が初めてであり、証明論的手法の有効性を示すことに成功している。また、小野はこの分野に関心を持つ研究者への資料として、「非標準論理における証明論的手法」というタイトルの50頁にわたる概説的な論文を発表した。高野および鹿島も証明論的手法に基づく結果を得ている。 4)非標準論理の述語論理。志村および小野は様相述語論理のクリプキ完全性に関する論文をそれぞ発表した。これらの研究はその理論的な困難さから大きな進展が見られなかったこの分野の研究におけるブレークスルーとなるものと期待される。また鈴木も述語論理に関する結果を発表している。なお、本研究グループのメンバーが中心となって11月に静岡大学で研究会を企画し、その成果をプロシーディングスとして公表した。
