| Research Abstract |
Recently, microbubble can be used as a contrast agent and We try to detect the myocardial perfusion. We also try to make angiogenesis by gene therapy. The purpose of this study is to make angiogenesis by gene therapy and angiogenesis can be evaluated by contrast agent. In the first year, we succeeded to hace myocardila infarcted model in rat and mice. We analyzed signal transduction and mRNA expressions after myocardial infarction and evaluated morphological change and cardiac function by echocardiogram. In the second year, we could get gene transfer method by adeno virus vector and myocardial perfusion could be evaluated by contrast echocardiography. In the last year, we try to transfer gene to the myocardium in vivo model. This protocol is now on going. In clinical, we can detect myocardial perfusion by echo-contrast agent.
In experimental and clinical research, we will detect microcirculation and collateral flow in the myocardium near future.
