Research Abstract |
1 We summarized the conditions to constitute the curriculum of science. (1)It is essential for Japan to make a plan taking a serious view of science and technology education for the future. (2)Not only Europe and America but Asian countries have a education plan taking serious view of science and technology. (3)Scientific theory to evaluate the function of science positively in the modern society is necessary. (4)The correlation between science education and technology, information and environmental education were clarified. (5)Science education should be developed to promote the results of TIMSS and the scientific abilities. (6)Science should be taught for children to like science more. 2 We realized that science education is essential for the development of characteristics, sensibility to the surroundings, interest and attention to science, knowledge and understanding, skills, ablity and attitude. 3 We studied the curriculum that children become to like science more and studied the process of learning of children. 4 We studied what contents are suitable for problem solving method. 5 The evaluation of the courese of study were carried by the use of questionnaires to teachers of primary and secondary school. 6 University professores of scientific faculties want to promote the fundamental attainmeents. 7 We clarified by questionnaires what primary and secondary teachers consider as the fundamental knowledge. 8 We found scientific words used in the newspaper that are not used in the science textbook.
