| Research Abstract |
本研究テーマでは,ニューラルネットワークが主な要素技術になっている。2年度は認識領域に基づく3層ニューラルネットワークの学習理論の研究とそれのリモートセンシング画像解析への応用,ニューラルネットワークのエントロピー最小化学習によるデータマイニングの研究,ならびに,ニューラルネットワークの安定性解析の研究を行った。
ニューラルネットワークによる画像からの特徴量の推定や分類では,ネットワークの汎化能力が重要な問題となる。論文"A new supervised learning method of neural networks and its application to the land cover classification"および論文"New supervised learning of neural networks for satellite image classification"では,3層ニューラルネットワークに対して,汎化能力を評価するために認識領域の概念を導入し,それを最大にするような学習法を提案し,それを用いてリモートセンシング画像データに基づく土地被覆分類を行った。
論文"Rules extraction by constructive learning of neural networks and hidden-unit clustering"では,不等式型の教師条件のもとで,隠れユニット追加学習法,枝刈り法,ならびに,隠れユニットクラスタリング法を提案し,入力データに内在する規則を発見するための手法を確立した。
ニューラルネットワークの学習理論では,ネットワークの挙動の安定性を調べることが重要になる。対称な相互結合型ニューラルネットワークに対しては,これまで数多くの安定性解析がなされている。しかしながら,非対称相互結合型ニューラルネットワークの安定性解析はほとんどなされていない。論文"Stability analysis of cellular neural networks with delay"では,遅延をもつ非対称セルラーニューラルネットワークの安定性解析を行った。
