| Research Abstract |
近年,ビタミンD誘導体,副甲状腺ホルモン,TGF-βなどは骨のリモデリングに強く関わる因子であることが明らかとなった。また,機械的な力による歯の移動時にプロスタグランディンや活性型ビタミンD_3などを併用すると,歯の移動が促進されることが報告されている。そこで,矯正力という力の作用のみに頼らない生物学的,生理的な歯の移動,固定,保定方法の確立を目的として以下の研究を行った。すなわち,本研究では,ラットを用いて,1,25(OH)_2D_3,24,25(OH)_2D_3およびTGF-β1の局所投与が歯の移動後の後戻りにどのような影響を与えるかについて検討した。
本研究結果より歯の実験的移動後の後戻り量は24,25(OH)_2D_3,TGF-β1の局所投与により濃度依存性に抑制されることが明らかとなった。また,24,25(OH)_2D_3およびTGF-β1は骨形成を促進するとともに骨吸収を抑制し,骨量を増加することが示された。したがって,24,25(OH)_2D_3およびTGF-β1は歯の実験的移動後の後戻りを生物学的に抑制し,歯槽骨リモデリングにおいては重要な役割を果たすことが示唆された。本研究により,将来,歯の移動後の後戻りを生物学的に防止するためにビタミンD誘導体およびTGF-βの歯科矯正臨床への応用の可能性が示唆された。本研究成果は生物学的な歯の移動,固定,保定方法の確立に寄与することが大きいと考えられる。
