Research Abstract |
Motoori Norinaga began to study the myth, KOJIKI.He didn't interpret KOJIKI, but note (write notes on KOJIKI faithfully.). However, his self-appoinnted disciple HIRATA ATSUTANE step over his master, and changed the myth texst. He estimate NIHONSHOKI more than KOJIKI. This study focus on the successors of HITATA.SUZUKI SIGEYANE, One of them, at first just like HIRATA, began to study NIONSHOKI, and tried to make his original myth text, but later give up his traial. Then he wrote notes on NIHONSHOKI. The Notes is very interesting. He thinks NIHONSHOKI text as a story, socalled narrative. He pointe out the origins of things, space, language, consciousness and so on. We must also study IIda TAKESATO.His study succeeded KOKUGAKU method, but it links the modern mytokogical study of Japanese mytos, KOJIKI and NIHONSHOKI. This study will help us to understand the common ground between the new religions in late Tokugawa periods, for exsample, TENRIKYO.Its organisation is deeply conneccted with "the change of mythological space".
