Research Abstract |
I did the interview survey and question survey of couples in order to grasp the structure of emotional relationship of spouses. The results are below : 1) Couples recognize two aspect of emotional relationship. One aspect its intimacy, and another one is Romance. 2) These two aspect are different between men and women. Men tend to connect sexual content and intimacy. The other hand, women tend to connect sexual content and romance. 3) Expectations toward spouse are lineal. 4) In order to keep intimacy, the intimate behavior are frequently done. 5) About emotion work, there are differences between the rural area and the city area, and sexes. In the rural area women tend to do more emotion works than men, but in the city area men tend to do more emotion works than women. 6) About the contentment of spouse's emotional relationship, women are less contended with romance relationship even though they are contended at the point of intimacy.
