| Research Abstract |
In the fiscal years from 1998-1999, 3 goals were planned :
(1) to make a glossary of difficult words and phrases contained in 3 dramas in volume 3, and
(2) to publish the transcription of 4 dramas in volume 4 and
(3) to make a glossary of volume 4.
Of these, item 1, a glossary was published in summer 1999. On item (2), the transcription of 4 dramas was published in April 2000, but item (3), the making of a glossary could regrettably not be completed by the end of March, 2000 ; it will take at least one more year. Anyway I am sure that the whole transcription (870 pages) of the Yiddish dramas will contribute to the clarification of the relationship between Kafka and Judaism.
