Research Abstract |
In social policy and social security of advanced nations, fringe benefits have come to very important. Group Term Life Insurances, that are for the benefit of employees and the survivors, consist in the center of those fringe benefits. But, they are used not for employees and their survivors, but for employers and firms in recent years in Japan. The following matters are investigated in three years. (1) This Group Term Life Insurance Problem is considered generally, in the view of fringe benefits, management-labor relations and Japanese society, etc. (2) Several materials, which connect to the trend of Group Term Life Insurance general conditions in Japan, are gathered and investigated. (3) The series of concepts of insurable interests in the hundred years of Japanese commercial law, that exist behind the Group Life Problem, are investigated and studied. In Korea as same as in Japan, the Group Life Problem became to social problem. It needs to compare between Japan and Korea in this problem. Furthermore, it is necessary for us to think over again theories of social policy and social security concerning with this problem.
