Research Abstract

群Gがdefect 0のblockを持つための必要十分条件を群論的な言葉で言い表せという有名な問題がある。これに関して、ここ二年間研究をしてきたが,次に述べる成果をあげることができた。Ci、Cj を Gのp-regularな元からなる共役類とするとき,Ωij={(a、b)←Ci×Cj|ab^+←P}(PはGのシロ-p-部分群)とおくとき,Ωijの中に|Ωij|/IP|がpと素なものがれば,Gはdefect 0 のblockを持つという定理がある。ここで|Ωij|,|P|はそれぞれΩij,Pに含まれる元の個数である。しかし具体的に群が与えられても|Ωij|を計算することは,大変難しい。そこで比較的判定しやすい条件を見つけたいと思い,それに関して次の定理を得た。Gが可能なp-巾零群でE(p,q,n),F(p,q,n),J-freeのとき0p(G)=1ならdefect 0のblockを持つ。ここでE(p,q,n),F(p,q,n)はパラメータp,q,nによって定まる群である。
またGが可解群である時,Gがdefect 0のblockを持つための必要十分条件をFongの定理を用いて,0p'(G)の既約指標の惰性群を考えることにより,部分群に帰着させ,これによりGの部分群の列を用いて述べることができた。
