| Research Abstract |
1.Countable Chain Condition を満たす完備プール代数に関し,S.Fuchinoと L.Souknp により得られていた box principle の弱い version の下での weak Freese-Nation property の特徴付けから得られるいくつかの結果が最良のものとなっていることを示す様々な例を構成することができた.これらの例は,いずれもある巨大基数の存在,あるいは巨大基数の consistency strength を仮定して得られる集合論のモデルから出発して構成されているが,これらの例の equi-consistency については未解決である.
2.Cohen model で成り立つ組合せ論を公理化する,実数による基数の coloring の homogeneity に関する幾つかの原理を考察し,これらの関係に関する結果を得た.またこれらの原理が Cohen model のみでなく,ある種の side-by-side product となっているような p.o.による generic-拡大で成り立つことを示した.
3.real-valued measurabiliy の supercompact 版を一般化する公理を定式化し,この公理の下で,任意の代数系で 2^<No>-freeness からfreeness が導けることの無矛盾性に関する S.Shelah の定理を一般化した.
4.Open Coloring Axiom と弱いforcing axioms との関係についての研究を行った.特に,Todorcevicおよび Baumgartner の結果で,これまで explicit な証明が発表されていなかった,Open Coloring Axiom の ZFC からの無矛盾性,および,PFA(Axiom A)の weakly compact cardinal との equi-consistency の self-contained な証明を与えた.このうち PFA(Axiom A) に関するものは Woodin の fast function forcing を用いる別証となっている.本研究は現在まだ基礎調査の段階である.最近,P^<max> の理論などの進展により,集合論の変革の兆しが見えているが,本研究の今後の展開が,このような大きな文脈の中で意味をもつものになってゆくことが期待される.
5.上記の他,研究代表者,研究分担者によりΡ_κ(λ)の組合せ論,set-theoretic analysis,実数の集合論,ブール代数のなどの分野においても,幾つかの研究結果が得られた.
