Research Abstract	物を分類するとき、いくつかの条件を設定し、それらを満たすクラスを考えることによって分類するという方法があり、本研究の理念は、可換Banach環及びBanach modulesを自然な条件を設定することによって分類し、具体的な環やmoduleがどのクラスに属するか、また同じクラスに属する環やmoduleはどんな不変な性質を共有するのかを調査することによって、可換Banach環やBanach modulesの本質を探ろうとするところにあった。この理念に基づき、我々は先にBSE-環及びBSE-Banach modulesのクラスを導入し、これを研究してきたが、最終年度は少し広い立場をとり、環準同型及び不等式に重点を置いた。環準同型に関しては、特に単位的半単純可換Banach環の間の環準同型の構造定理を導き、その線形性を吟味した。不等式に関しては、Furuta,Ky Fan及びMond-Pecaricによって確立されたHolder-McCarthy-Kantorovich不等式の一般化に関連した作用素不等式のHadamard積versionを示した。またBanach空間におけるHlawka型不等式を導入し、そのcotype定数の上限を決定した。更にHilbert空間の場合、そのcotype定数の最良値を決定した。またHilbert空間上のHlawka不等式の一つの拡張であるDjokovic不等式の新しい解釈を凸解析の見地から与えた。更に有限測度空間上のHilbert空間に値を持つBochner可積分関数に関するHlawka不等式を考察し、その応用として、Djokovic不等式の重み付き拡張を与えた。他に連続関数に値をとる区間上の写像に関するある種の微分方程式のHyers-Ulam stabilityの研究がなされた。これらの結果はしかるべきジャーナルに掲載もしくは掲載予定、もしくは投稿中である。詳細は研究発表の欄を参照されたい。
