| Research Abstract |
ヌスビトハギ連の新分類体系を設立するために,まずDendrolobium属を研究した.これまでの考えでは,Dendrolobium属はインドシナ半島に分布の中心があり,ヌスビトハギ連との関連性から推定して,この地域で分化した群であり,ヌスビトハギ連の中で最も原始的であると考えられていた.この考えは広く受け入れられ、定説となっていた.しかし,ニューギニア,オーストラリア,フィリピン,台湾に原始的な固有種が明らかになり,上述の仮説を修正しなければならなくなった.本研究ではDendrolobium arbuscula(Domin)H.OhashiとDendrolobium umbellatum(L.)Benth.の区別点を明らかにし,さらに,この2種に近縁のDendrolobium papuacola H.Ohashi&T.Nemotoを新種として発見した(業績2:Ohashi,Ye,and Nemoto 1999).一方,本研究では東アジアのヌスビトハギ連構成種についても再検討した.まず,日本のマメ科植物のうちのヌスビトハギ連を体系的に再検討した.その結果,ミソナオシDesmodium caudatum(Thunb.)DC.の分類学上の位置を修正した.従来多くの場合,この種はヌスビトハギ属に含められていたが,1852年にG.Benthamが提案したように,別属とした.しかし,Benthamの提案した学名は国際植物命名規約の規定によって使用できないので,新たにOhwia H.Ohashiミソナオシ属とした(業績1:Ohashi1999).また,これまでアジア大陸のLespedeza daurica(Laxm.)Schindl.に当てられていたオオバメドハギを新種としてLespedeza hisauchiiT.Nemoto&H.Ohashiと同定した(業績3:Nemoto and Ohashi 1999).さらに,東アジアから北米東部に分布するヌスビトハギ連の新属としてHvlodesmum属を新設した.
