Research Abstract |
This Project aimed to develop the turbulent, modeling for the large eddy simulation based on a dynamic sub-grid model proposed by Germano which were evaluated only in the fundamental turbulence phenomena. The following objects were investigated ; a) Development of a dynamic subgrid model for the premixed turbulent combustion based on the flamelet concept for applting to a gas-turbine combustor flows. b) Development of a dynamic subgrid model for the particle-laden flow by considering the two way coupling between distributed particles and turbulence fluctuation. c) Development of a new concept subgrid model by considering the viscous dissipation effect and the grid dependency in grid-scale solution. d) Modification of a dynamic subgrid model for the external forced flow fields by considering the anisotroic effect of turbulence. e) Development of the high accurate numerical schemes for the finite element method and the finite difference method considering the conservation characteristics in the discretized formulation. f) Numerical evaluation of the affects caused by the additional filtering operation and the upwind schemes introduced for the compress of the numerical instability.
