Research Abstract

In order to obtain the dipole location of the acoustical evoked electrophigiological events at the central auditory path way, the dipole tracing method was applied to the normal hearing subjects.
The results were as follows,
1 The dipole of Po component of middle latency response shifted to sub-cortical area closed to the midline when the subject was in sleep conditions.
2 The dipole of N1 and P2 components of slow vertex response located at the contralateral temporal lobe and their dipole tended to shift its location in to the deep region.
3 The dipole location of the central response evoked by different kinds of acoustical stimulation showed no remarkable changes, for example tone burst and word stimulation showed similar location of the dipole.
