Research Abstract |
(1) Harmonization of Diagnostic Image in Dental and Oral Radiology to DICOM Supplement 32 Attributes of intaoral radiography and panoramic radiography were analyzed by Object Oriented Analysis. It was found that attribute definitions in DICOM Supplement 32 lacked in attributes for CR images and Secondary Caputre(SC) images. (2) Development of CTN image storage server using Oracle8 as the database engine In order to manage a large number of images, CTN software was modified to apply Oracle8 database engine. Using it, a DICOM image server/client system was constructed for research and education. (3) Simulation of DICOM object of intraoral radiography A sample object of intraoral radiography was created for convenience of software development, which included all the attributes defined in Supplement 32. (4) DICOM object of MRI moving image for tmpolomandibular joint diagnosis A DICOM SOP class was defined for moving image using Quick algorithm software for the compression. A software system was developed to create objects and display the moving image. (5) Automatic secondary capturing system for film based intraoral radiography A SCU software for image storage SOP Class was developed for the effective input of film based intraoral radiography.
