| Research Abstract |
本研究では多変量解析における「星形分布」あるいは「クロスセクション型分布」とよぶ新しい分布族に関する研究をおこなっている。本年度はその初年度でありこのテーマ自体については顕著な成果はまだ得られていない状況であるが、密接に関わる多変量解析の分野でいくつかの成果が得られている。
Discussion paperの段階ではあるが、研究代表者竹村と研究分担者紙屋の共著の“Rankings generated by spherical discriminant analysis"
Discussion Paper CIRJE-F-15では、球面上の判別分析に関する代数的な結果が得られている。また研究代表者の竹村の“Tail probabilities of the maxima of multilinear forms and their applications"(栗木共著)
Discussion Paper CIRJE-F-4では多変量解析にあらわれる最大値型の統計量の分布を確率過程の最大値という観点からtube法を用いて評価している。さらに研究分担者の紙屋による “A class of robust principal component vectors"(江口共著)では主成分スコアベクトルの新しいノバスト推定法が提案された。
