| Research Abstract |
1. 8月27-29日に、北海道大学水産学部で、「黒潮・親潮及び移行域の物理環境と生態系の変動機構」に関するミニ国際シンポジウムの開催と合わせて、第1回目の全体会議を開き、北東アジア水域でのGLOBEC研究の国際協力の課題と問題点について、打ち合わせを行った。
2. 11月27日に東大海洋研究所で第2回目の全体会議を開き、情報交換、ならびに文部省関係の科学研究費の枠組みの変化に伴う科研費申請のための研究計画の大枠等について、打ち合わせを行った。
3. 2月13・14日に箱根において第3回目の拡大全体会議とセミナーを開いて国内外の研究進行状況について整理した。また、合わせて文部省科研費特別領域研究等への申請のための研究計画、重要課題と戦略・方法について打ち合わせを行った。このため、(1)動物プランクトン・マイクロネクトン巡る食物連鎖・栄養動態、(2)多獲性小型浮魚類の卓越種交替機構に関わる物理環境と低次生産系の動態、(3)GLOBEC研究のための生物サンプリング、音響・光学的計測技術及び野外実験装置の開発、(4)動物プランクトンのポピュレーション・ダイナミックス 及び生態系の栄養動態等に関する数値実験、(5)黒潮親潮混合域生態系の時空間遷移機構に関する野外集中実験、等に関する最近の研究成果を総括するとともに、研究計画の具体案について検討した。
