| Research Abstract |
科学研究費の交付を受けて、平成10年7月4日「情動・意欲の神経機構と病態のメカニズム」第1回研究班会議が慶應義塾大学、医学部、新教育棟講堂3にて行われた。出席者は12人で、各班員の調査項目の確認を行うと共に石塚典生(神経解剖学)、湯浅茂樹(神経発生学)、三國雅彦(情動障害)、西川 徹(分裂病)の研究発表が行われた。第2回研究班会議は、平成10年9月24日-25日に岡崎国立共同研究機構、岡崎コンファレンスセンター小会議室にて14人の出席者を得て行われた。この会議は、平成10年度 生理学研究所研究会(1)「情動・意欲をいかにとらえるか」(上記日時に開催)と合同で行われた。すべての班員が同研究会に参加し、班員の研究発表は同研究会に組み込まれた形で行われた。発表者は小幡邦彦、松本 元、鍋島俊隆、神庭重信、山脇成人、川村光毅、岡戸信男、久野節二、八木 健、伊予雅臣であった。第3回研究班会議は平成11年3月13日-14日に予定されている。出席者予定者は11人で、慶應義塾大学、医学部、新教育棟講堂3にて行われる。この班会議には、米国からこの分野の第一人者であるDr.J.LeDoux(New York University)を招跡聘し、"Emotional memory: From system to synapses"と題する口演をしていただくとともに、情動・意欲のメカニズムに関する班員との討論が予定されている。
以上の活動により情動に関わる神経回路の構築とその生理機能、情動発現とその病態に関わる遺伝子とその制御、情動障害と神経伝達、細胞内情報伝達系に関する最新の情報収集という所期の目的を達成し、この基盤に立って、平成11年度特定領域研究(B)「情動め生物学的意義とその神経機構の解明」の申請に至った。人を対象とした情動の病態メカニズムの研究分野と、情動の神経機構に関わる基礎的研究分野の融合により情動・意欲の神経機構と病態のメカニズムのより一層の理解の進展が期待される。
