Research Abstract	1)強相関電子物性グループ(三宅、北岡、大貫、菅) CeCu_2Ge_2などが加圧下で示す超伝導転移温度のピークはCeイオンの価数転移に関連した新しい超伝導機構であるという理論の予想が,高圧下放射光X線回折実験により支持された。(三宅、天谷)スピン3重項p波超伝導体Sr_2RuO_4のギャップは異方的で線状で消えること、スピン3重項対に固有な集団磁気励起が存在することを発見した。常圧で磁気臨界特性を示す重い電子系超伝導体Ce0.99Cu_2Si_2が0.8GPaより低圧力下で「量子臨界超伝導」の特徴をもつことを明らかにした。(北岡)ドハース・ファンアルフェン効果により、UPt_3においてサイクロトロン質量が100m0の重い電子を検出し、そのフェルミ面に関する研究を完了した。(大貫)放射光を用いた高エネルギー高分解能バルク敏感光電子分光装置により,Ce化合物系について初めてバルク4f電子状態を明らかにし,従来の報告は表面4f状態を観測していたに過ぎないことが分かった。(菅) 2)閉じ込め電子相関相グループ(伊藤、張、冷水、邑瀬) GaAs量子単一ドットの顕微分光により尖鋭な輝線蛍光スペクトルの観測に成功し、光励起強度の増加とともに励起電子多体効果によってスペクトルが変化する様子を捉た。ZnO/TiO_2ナノスケール積層薄膜構造を作製し、等方性媒質による第2高調波発生とその増強効果の観測に成功した。(伊藤)1次元に規則配列した量子ドット・量子線・量子井戸において、物質励起とプラッグ条件を満たす光の相互作用が大きく増大することを示した。非線形光学応答に関しては、薄膜内励起子の縮退4光波混合信号の強度が膜厚と光振動数の両者に共鳴して巨大な増大効果を持つことを理論的に示した。(張)(775)B超高密度In0.1Ga_<0.9>As/(GaAs)_6(AlAs)_1,を用いて,GRIN-SCH量子細線レーザーを作製し,1.7-3.1kA/cm2,833-868nmでの室温パルス発振を実現した。(冷水)整数量子ホール効果におけるエッジ状態の広がりについて、ホールプラトー以外の全磁場領域での測定を行い、磁場値がホールプラトーの磁場から大きくなるとともにエッジ状態が広がり、バルク状態となることを実験的に示した。(邑瀬) 3)超高圧電子相グループ(天谷、那須、鈴木) CeRh_2Si_2の圧力誘起超伝導が純良結晶でのみ観測されることを確認した。イオン結晶であるBiIについて、圧力下半導体金属転移(10GPa)及び圧力誘起超伝導性(13GPaでT_c【similar or equal】2K)を発見した.希ガスXeについて超高圧250GPa下での金属化を光学的に観測した。(天谷)Seのβ-Po方構造およびbcc構造における超伝導転移温度の圧力変化を第一原理的に計算して、転移に際して転移温度が著しく上昇することを見い出し、bcc構造での高い転移温度はソフトフォノンの存在によるものであることを明らかにした。(鈴木)Pe高圧相c-Feおよび典型Fe酸化物であるα-^<203>Fe、LaFeO_3の高圧下メスバウアー分光測定を行い、LaFeO_3では30GPa以上の高圧下では室温で磁気秩序を示さず常磁性体に相転移することを示した。(那須)
