Research Abstract	「電子相関」をキーワードとしつつ、1)強相関電子物性、2)閉じ込め電子相関相、3)超高圧電子相、の三つのテーマについて、以下のような成果を得た。 1)強相関電子物性グループ(三宅、北岡、大貫、菅) 強磁性超伝導体UGe_2の示す様々な「普通でない物性」が、「CDWとSDWの結合した秩序とゆらぎ」の存在にもとづく現象として矛盾なく総合的に理解できることを示した。強磁性量子臨界点近傍の金属中の近藤効果は「多チャンネル近藤効果」の様相をもつことを予言した。(三宅) 重い電子系反強磁性体(CeRhIn_5,CeIn_3)の反強磁性と超伝導(SC)の特異な共存相を発見した。スクッデルタイト型化合物、PrM_4(P, Sb)_<12>(M=Ru, Os)の超伝導特性を調べ、Os系がこれまでにない特異な超伝導体であることを発見した。電子ドープ系高温超伝導体がフェルミ液体+d波超伝導あることを見い出した。(北岡) 加圧下ドハース・ファンアルフェン効果の実験が3GPaまで可能になった。反強磁性体CeRh_2Si_2,CeRhIn_5,Ce_2RhIn_8,CeIn_3及び強磁性体UGe_2の研究が行われ、量子臨界点近傍でのフェルミ面とサイクロトロン質量の著しい変化及び超伝導の性質が明らかにされた。(大貫) 高温超伝導体LSCOやNCCOのバルク敏感ARPES・Fermiologyを行った。Sr_2RuO_4では2つの電子フェルミ面と1つのホールポケットを観測し、スクッテルダイト化合物PrFe_4P_<12>では光電子スペクトルの温度変化より近藤共鳴ピークを同定した。(菅) 2)閉じ込め電子相関相グループ(伊藤、張、冷水、小野、小川、野末) CuCl量子ドット中でバルク結晶には存在しない励起子分子の閉じ込め励起状態を発見した。同量子井戸構造のMBE成長により単層ステップ程度のフラットな表面構造を実現した。パラメトリック下方変換で生成した絡み合い光子対で光ドブロイ波長を観測した。(伊藤) 共鳴ブラッグ反射器の特異な光応答、内部電場の空間構造に起因する多重共鳴非線型光学応答、ナノ微粒子の電子的共鳴準位を利用した光マニピュレーションの理論を展開し、銅表面上の鉄原子ナノワイヤーの安定構造・磁性状態を解明した。(張) (221)A In_<0.24>Ga_<0.76>As混晶基板上にA In_<0.24>Ga_<0.76>As/A In_<0.24>Al_<0.76>As自己形成型量子細線を分子線結晶成長法で作製し、これまで報告されている中でもトップクラスの高い閉じ込めエネルギー(150meV)を実現した。(冷水) マンガン酸化物へのスピン注入による電気抵抗制御、トンネル接合を用いた超伝導体へのスピン注入効果、サブミクロン周期の局所変調磁場中における金属薄膜の電気伝導現象、磁性細線中の単一磁壁のダイナミクス、単一磁壁の電流駆動等の実験的研究を行った。(小野) 金属のフェルミ端近傍でのべき発散光学スペクトルは,電子密度が小さい極限で,励起子ではなく,荷電励起子状態に起因するスペクトルに漸近することを,束縛状態とスピン自由度とを取り入れた結合クラスター展開法で明らかにした。有限温度効果も取り入れた。(小川) 配列したカリウムクラスターについてμSR実験を行い、スピンキャント機構による解析を行った。量子ホール効果のエッジ状態の広がりから試料端付近の局所電子濃度分布を調べた。2次元電子系のサイクロトロン共鳴における電子相関の影響について考察した。(野末) 3)超高圧電子相グループ(鈴木、那須、清水、小林) 非磁性hcp鉄に対して、BCS機構による超伝導転移温度を圧力の関数として第一原理的に計算し、実験事実とは異なり単調に減少するという結果を得た。また、10GPa〜20GPaの狭い圧力範囲ではあるが、反強磁性状態が非磁性状態よりも安定であるという結果を得た。(鈴木) ダイヤモンド・アンビル・セルを用いて、低温・高圧、7Tまでの外部磁場下メスバウアー分光測定を行い、ペロブスカイト型鉄酸化物、イプシロン鉄の磁性を調べ、鉄酸化物のP-T磁気状態図、イプシロン鉄の磁気モーメントの有無を明らかにした。(那須) アルカリ金属のリチウムの電気伝導度を85万気圧までの超高圧下まで測定に成功し、さらに単体元素最高の転移温度(20K)をもつ超伝導体であることを発見した。リチウムは金属水素の模型として、水素の金属化および超伝導研究に直接結びつく成果である。(清水) 圧力誘起超伝導体UGe_2の強磁性相中での逐次転移による比熱異常の観測に成功した。超伝導転移による比熱異常はこの逐次転移が消滅する圧力近傍の狭い圧力領域でしか観測されず、逐次転移によるゆらぎが超伝導の発現に強く関連していることを示した。(小林)
