Research Abstract	サブミリ波干渉計の構築に関しては、3素子目の受信機の整備と、より長い基線長のアンテナペアにおける試験観測を中心に行った。その結果、3台目の10mアンテナもサブミリ波干渉計として高感度観測が実行可能な開口能率が達成されたことが実証できた。その一方で、長基線での干渉実験では有意なフリンジ検出ができず、345GHz帯受信機の性能に改善の余地が大きいことが分かった。これと合わせ、長基線での干渉計観測のための位相補償法の実験をサブミリ波観測好適地で進めた。偏波観測に関しては、昨年度までに製作した150/230/345GHzの偏波回転素子のうち150GHzの分を実験室での詳しく評価し、損失の内訳などを検討した。230/345GHzでの評価測定のためのシステム整備と予備的測定も実施した。原始惑星系円盤の観測的研究に関しては、野辺山ミリ波干渉計を用いた原始惑星系円盤の長期共同利用観測による結果の詳細なモデル解析に基づき、サブミリ波干渉計観測の対象を絞り込んだ。また成果の論文を執筆中である。さらに、惑星系形成にとっての初期条件を探る目的でTタウリ型星IQTauのまわりの円盤のレインボー干渉計による高感度・高分解能観測を行い、解析を進めている。黄道光の観測に関しては、ハワイ島マウナケアで黄道光観測用広視野CCDカメラ"WIZARD"の試験観測を行い、性能評価のための基礎データを取得した。11月には富士山頂にある小口径のサブミリ波望遠鏡を用いてしし座流星群が地球上層大気に持ち込む有機物の観測を行ったが、ターゲットとしていたホルムアルデヒドは検知できなかった。年度末には東京大学木曽観測所のシュミット望遠鏡での観測を行い、世界で初めて彗星のダストトレールを可視光で同定することに成功した。理論面では、円盤面密度が減少していく原始惑星系円盤中での地球型惑星形成過程最終段階の理論研究を行った。その結果、形成される地球型惑星の質量、軌道離心率は、円盤の面密度減少率により大きく変化することが明らかになった。さらに、太陽系における地球型惑星の再現のためには、面密度減少時間は1千万年程度が適当であることが分かった。
