Research Abstract	本研究班の研究目的は、文部省国際学術研究がん特別調査関連のすべての研究課題を効果的かつ円滑に実施することであり、そのために以下の研究及ぴ活動を行なった。 1)計画研究課題の企画と選定:「計画研究」は、成果が期待できる骨格的な研究課題敏総括班が企画選定した。計画研究は平成11年度は29課題のうちの12課題(総括班を含む)であった。 2)予備調査の企画、選定、実施:本研究班においては計画研究の企画、選定に先立ち、相手国の受入体制、研究の実施可能性、期待される成果、基礎的情報の収集の為に必要に応じて予備調査を実施した。平成11年度には次の3件の予備調査を実施した:(1)北欧各地域における生体内脂溶性ビタミンと各種悪性腫瘍関連の研究、(2)胆嚢がん多発国・ハンガリーにおける本性の成因に関する国際比較研究、(3)ベトナムにおける職業がんの実態調査 3)研究報告会の開催:平成12年2月25日に名古屋において研究報告会を開催した。今年度は全ての研究課題の研究成果を各研究代表者が発表し、極めて活発な討議が行なわれた。 4)がん特別調査ニュースレターの発刊:がん特別調査の各研究班及びその他の関連研究グループとの情報交換を密にするために、がん特別調査ニュースレターを2号(No.27-28)を発刊した。 5)「Monbusho International Scientific Research Program Special Cancer Research in 1994-1998 : Overall Evaluation by Foreign Counterpart」の発刊:1994〜1998年度に実施された研究課題のうち、一部を除き全ての研究課題について、その調査研究計画と、実施過程などの全体に対する評価および日本側への要望などを海外のカウンターパートから書面で聞き取り、和訳を付けた形の冊子を作成した。
