Research Abstract	平成12年度の研究概要を項目ごとに記す。 1超幾何系と周期写像:高山は、真島秀行等とともに、一般合流超幾何関数についてその2次関係式の系統的な記述を行なった。また、齋藤睦等とD加群のアルゴリスム的側面と超幾何系の変形に関する著書を出版した。佐々木は、3次曲面のモジュライ空間上の複素双曲構造について、吉田正章とともにその一意化微分方程式の研究を行なった。また、アッペルの超幾何微分方程式F_4,F_2で定義される射影曲面を決定した。野海は、加藤満生と共同研究により、非原始的有限モノドロミー群をもつ超幾何微分方程式_nF_<n-1>の展開写像について像領域を研究し、その逆写像の構成した。 2パンルヴェ方程式:野海・高野・山田は、パンルヴェ方程式の初期値空間をベックルント変換群を正則化する多様体として構成する新しい方法を与えた。また、齋藤は、梅村浩との共同研究により、有理二重点をもつ有理曲面の変形理論の観点から、パンルヴェ方程式とその対称性についての幾何学的意味づけを与えた。 3ワイル群と離散可積分系:野海・山田は,一般カルタン行列に付随するワイル群を双有理正準変換群として構成する一般的な方法を与え、カッツ・ムーデイ群のガウス分解による幾何学的由来を明らかにした。また、梶原建司とともに、パンルヴェ方程式P_<IV>のq類似を考察し、その特殊解の構成を行なった。
