Research Abstract	「カテゴリ化と姿勢情報の統合メカニズム」(乾,杉尾) 自己紹織的カテゴリ化機構に関して,自然画像に対してハイパーコラムによるフィルタリング等の生理学的に妥当性の高いものを採用してSOMの学習を行った.その結果,明示的にカテゴリについての情報を与えなくても,人工物に対応する領域がSOHのマップ上に形成されることが明らかにされた.また3次元形状の認知実験を行った結果,画像べースの鋳型照合的なプロセスと,心的回転のような,物体の三次元構造情報を利用して記憶表現に逐次的に変換を行う構造べースのプロセスの存在が実験的に確認された.さらに日常物体を用いて同時弁別による遅延見本あわせ課題をおこない,刺激提示後500ms経過した段階では,非典型的景観からは物体の粗い3次元構造に依存した表現しか形成されていないことが分かった. 「視覚運動の統合メカニズム」(林) VR技術を用いた2ステップ実験で,動作途中にターゲット位置が変化する場合の軌道修正について調べた.その結果,ターゲットの掴み直しが生じる条件は,到達時間によらず,到達動作の速度ピークの時間で決定されることが明らかになった.このことは,到達速度のピーク以降の時刻では視覚系のフィードバックが無効となることを示している. 「注意機能と統合メカニズム」(斎木,小西) 複数物体の属性情報の保持と変換の時空間的な特性を検討した結果,検出成績は遮蔽期間を変数とするワイブル関数で記述することができ,運動速度の効果は関数の閾値パラメータの変化として表現できた.さらに実験結果は,確率加算と信号検出理論に基づくuncertainty model(Pelli,1985)を拡張し,標的個数と運動速度が独立に閾値に影響することを仮定したモデルで非常によく説明することができた.一方Wisconsinカード分類試験のような注意セットの転換を必要とする神経心理学的テストは前頭葉障害で侵されやすい.脳のイメージング実験の結果,前背側前頭前皮質は注意の高次制御,即ち注意セット転換に重要であり,一方,後腹側領域はより低いレベルのshift,即ち刺激-反応連間の再構築に関係していると思われる.
