Research Abstract	動体の理解にあたって,その対象の3次元形態情報や動的な機能特性を計測することが不可欠な手段である.対象動体を3次元モデルで表現し,その運動をコンピュータグラフィックスで評価することができる.すなわち,観測画像と物理モデルを融合させた処理により動体理解を進めることができることになる. 本研究では,心臓とスポーツ運動を具体的対象に取上げ,計算機内に3次元モデルを構築する観測手法の開発を中心に,運動の解析評価を計算機支援で実現することを期してきた. このため,動体を関連情報と伴に撮像記録する装置を完成させ,500fpsまでの速度で観測可能な両眼動画像撮像システムを構築し,観測データからの3次元動体モデル構成法の検討を,特に3次元動体観測と,簡便な高画質3次元シーン再現手法とに着目して実施した.解析対象についての物理モデル作製も進めてきたが,マーカを工夫して簡便で効率的な身体運動の読取りとその表示に成功し,撮像法の拘束条件を緩めた観測画像列からの多視点画像生成法を画像ベースの手法で実現した.このとき,ネットワーク上での画像データの最適な取扱い法,表示方法,さらにはモデル表現における最適なテキスチャー貼りこみ手法などの検討を進めた. 一方,心動態とサッカーのボールキックを具体例に3次元観測とそれらからの運動評価とを,動画像処理用ワークステーションを準備して進めた.心動態については,主として機能の表示のできるSPECT画像と、形態の描出に優れたMRI画像の統合表示を試み成果を得ている。また、ディジタル人体模型を作製して、サッカーなどの運動解析に用いるとともに,槍投げの運動解析をはじめた. 今後,3次元動体運動モデルの改善と観測モデルとの融合処理に基づいた動体理解システムの展開をさらに推し進めたい.
