| Research Abstract |
水循環研究のための様々な水の同位体比のサンプリングと分析方法、また、解析の基礎となる実験系の準備を以下のように行った。
(1)係留気球の大気サンプリングが確実に可能となった。また、気圧計をサンプリング装置につむことにより、個々のサンプルを採取した高度を正確に記録することを可能にした。
(2)土壌水および植物中の水の同位体比分析のルーチン化。基本的には真空蒸留法を採用し、抽出から分析までのルーチン化を可能にした。また、土壌中に十分な水が存在する場合は、ポーラスカップによる採取も採用した。
(3)ライシメータによる土壌-植物-大気連続体の実験系の立ち上げ。生態学研究センターにシンビオトロンが設置され、これを用いて、室内での気温、雨量、湿度、照度条件をコントロールした実験が可能となった。ライシメータを作成し、雨量等の予備実験を現在行っているところである。予備実験が終了次第、ライシメータに砂を入れ、土壌水の同位体比プロファイルの形成過程に関する実験を来年度早々に開始する予定である。
(4)同位体モデルの改良を進めた。
