| Research Abstract |
歯周炎は歯周組織局所の微生物によって惹起され進行する感染症で,グラム陰性嫌気性細菌がその主要な病原細菌と見なされている.我々は,歯周病原性細菌のうち,Prophylomonas gingivalis, Treponema denticola, Capnocytophaga ochracea, Capnocytophaga suptigena, Prevotella intermedia, Prevotella nigrescens, Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, Bacteroides forsythus, Campyrobacter rectus, Eikenella corrodensの消長を,2歳から15歳までの健常な小児119名を被験者として,PCR法により経年的に調べた.その結果,(1)C.ochracea, C.sputigena, A.actinomycetemcomitansは同時に検出されることが多く,一度唾液中より検出されると,その後も高率に唾液中より検出される,(2)P.gingivalis, T.denticola, P.intermediaは混合歯列期においても稀にしか検出されない,(3)B.forsythus, P.intermediaが検出される時は検出される他の菌種も増加する,(4)1菌種の出現が歯周炎の発症をもたらすという所見は認めれない,ことが明らかとなった.
