Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to investigate biological, psychological, and social effects on psychological adaptation in puberty. Four questionnaire researches were administered on 600 elementary school children and junior high school students, which were contained variables about bodily change, psychological development, demographic index, psychological adaptation. Main results are as follows ; 1.Most girls had first menstruation before entrance into junior high school, and its psychological effects were formation of body image and self image. Otherwise, most boys had first ejaculation after entrance into junior high school, and informational environment of sex/gender was important for them to form gender identity. 2.In view of life style, a habit not having breakfast, and six sleeping patterns found in both samples each other were related to Kire-behavior. Law evaluation on one's sleeping made high stress and habit of not having breakfast. To sleep well and to wake up comfortably was related to law stress and regular eating habit. 3.Longitudinal research made clear that cognition of bodily change and body image were related to appropriate information of sex, and that it is important for the timing of onset of bodily change and input its information to have good fitness.
