Research Abstract |
In the sutra storehouse of Kozanji temple there are many origami(folding papers) recorded the oral instruction of Kouzen(1121-1203). The subject of their classification was incidental to the investigation of comprehensive Kozanji's sutra storehouse. Until 1998 we took the photographs of the text of "Shikan-shou(Four Volumes' Text)" and Shin-shiku (New Teacher's Oral-Instruction)", and mounted them on the cardboard and registered the number of origami-papers. After 1999 we added "Denju-ruiju-shou (Initiation-Compiling-Text)", and made "Aobyoushi-daichou(Blue-Binding-Ledger)". That is composed of about 600 mounts, and contains 191 kinds, 544 articles and 911 items of oral instruction. We reprinted a books number to this from an old ledger. In June 1999, the number of registrations to the ledger were 895 (books written down with oral instruction), 1531 (totals of each pieces of oral-construction-text) and 1448 (totals of integrating parts ). And from July in 1999 we decided to keep this new ledger in the Houko-dai-doujou (Training hall of dharma drumming) which is adjacent in the sutra storehouse of Kozanji-temple. In January 2002, the number of registrations to the ledger were 1014 (books written down with oral instruction), 2012 (totals of each pieces of oral-construction-text) and 1538 (totals of integrating parts). We intend to register origami of oral instruction on a ledger with addition, after this. We input a registration situation of the present point in time as data. We distribute the file of these data to a necessary place. To the result report we attached an excerpt of the above-mentioned data, the tables of containts of "Shikan-shou", "Shin-shiku" and "Denju-ruiju-shou", and the inventories of origami divided by catchers of initiation.
