Research Abstract	平成13年度には、本研究の目的である博士論文Formulaic and Metaphorical Expressions in Old English(仮題『古英語の定型・比楡表現研究』10章)の2章を構成する英文論文を執筆、英文論文集と学会誌Studies in English Literature, English Number(日本英文学会)に寄稿し、他の1章を構成すべき論文の先行研究である和文研究ノートを執筆した。((1)'The Lineage and Variations of the Biblical Phrase "while the world standeth"'(2)'Review Article : Seamus Heaney, trans. Beowulf'(3)「red gold再考」) 9月にトウルク大学に赴き、中英語宗教散文の専門家M.Peikola博士、英語対句研究の専門家M.Gustafsson博士、英語句動詞史的発進の研究で著名なR.Hiltunen博士に面会し、大阪大学・トウルク大学学術交流プログラムの共同研究である英文論文集の構成について会談を行い、本研究者の担当論文を'Textual and Discoursal Significance of peaet waes god cyning type sentences in Old English poetry'に決め、他の寄稿者選出、論文作成上の資料と文体、出版社に関する助言を受けた。古英語および文体論に関する共同研究3件を主催した。古英語論文資料読書会、および関西古英語研究会では、主として大学院生の指導を行なっているが、会員である大阪大学言語文化研究科大学院生小塚良孝氏の投稿論文の日本中世英語英文学会新人賞である松浪賞佳作受賞が決定した。また同言語文化部の共同プロジェクト『英語文体論の方法と射程』において通時的研究・認知言語学・コーパス言語学の連携研究を実践・統括した。
