| Research Abstract |
1.A,Bをn×n positive semidefinite matricesとする。Ando,Hiai and OkuboはA,Bの多重積に関するトレース不等号の研究を行い、次の結果をえた。
Theorem p_i,q_i 【greater than or equal】 0(1 【less than or equal】 i 【less than or equal】 k)がΣ^<i=1>_kp_i = Σ^<i=1>_kq_i = 1,0 【less than or equal】 Σ^<i=1>_jq_i - Σ^<i=1>_jp_i 【less than or equal】 1/2 (1 【less than or equal】 j 【less than or equal】 k-1),0【less than or equal】Σ^<i=1>_jp_i-Σ^<i=1>_jq_i 【less than or equal】 1/2 (1【less than or equal】j【less than or equal】k)を満たすとする。このとき、
|Tr(A^<p1>B^<q1>A^<p2>B^<q2>・・・A^<pk>B^<qk>)|【less than or equal】Tr(AB)
がいえる。ただし、Tr(X)は行列Xのトレースを表す。
2.w_p(A)(p > 0)をNagy-Foiasの意味での作用素半径とするとき,2×2 matrixに関してw_p(A)【less than or equal】1なる条件が中路-大久保によってえられていた。w_p(・)の一般的な理論から行列Aは【numerical formula】(|a|,|b|【less than or equal】1)の形をしているとしてよい。
Okubo-Spitkovskyはその理論を発展させて、次の結果を得た。また、それを利用して、具体的にさよう素半径を計算した。
Theorem a,b∈D :={z∈C||z|【less than or equal】1}とする。このとき、p【greater than or equal】とするとき、Aがp-縮小行列であるための必要十分条件は|c|^2+|a-b|^2【less than or equal】inf^<=∈D>|({p+(1-p)a=}{p+(1-p)b=}ab|=|)^2(/)p=|^2である。
また、これらの成果はLinear Algebra and Aplicationsをはじめに国際的な専門雑誌に投稿されている。
