Research Abstract |
The One-Boson-Exchange-Potential (OBEP) due to Ueda, Riewe and Green for nucleonnucleon interaction is extended to ones for hyperon-nucleon interactions. The pseudoscalar, scalar and vector SU (3) nonet mesons are taken into account. They follow the SU (3) invariance. Additionally SU (3) violating mesons are introduced. Successful results are classified into the following I and II. I An OBEP is derived with the SU (3) violating mesons, σ, κ, Ω and P, for ΛΝ-ΣΝ coupled system. The potential describes correctly all the available data on the scatterings and reactions of this system. The binding energy of the hypertriton is exactly reproduced. A discriminating point of this potential from Nijmegen 97f one is made clear about the ΣNI=3/2 ^3S_1 component and how to examine it experimentally is suggested. II OBEP's for ΞΝ and ΞΞ systems are also derived witlt the SU (3) violating meson, σ. The ΞΝ OBEP is applied to Ξ^--nucleus bound states. Only the coupliung constant g_<ΞΞσ> is adjustable and determined so as to reproduce the binding energy of Ξ^--^<12>C bound state. We predict the scattering and bound states for ΞΝ and ΞΞ systems and in particular a Ξ-^<11>Β bound state in agreement with an experimental signal.
